For Hansgrohe SE, the protection of personal data is of great importance. We collect, process and use your personal data exclusively (a) based on and within the scope of the relevant statutory provisions or (b) with your individual declaration of consent. Below we would like to inform you of the processing we engage in, as permitted by law, to the extent that the need for your express declaration of consent is not referred to.

When you call up the offers on our websites, we briefly collect and store the following user data in order to enable your use: your identification features (your IP address, where applicable user names and passwords), details on the beginning, end, nature and scope of your use as well as details regarding your type of browser and operating system. This is a technical process which is required when you call up websites in WWW. The same applies if you access content from our newsletters (except where allowed otherwise, our newsletters are sent only upon your request and with your express consent).

Personal Data Voluntarily Provided by You
If you voluntarily transmit to us via contact forms on our websites, via e-mail or other postal form personal data such as names, title, email or postal address, telephone number, personal messages etc., we store and use this data to provide the requested service (e.g. sending requested information, answering technical or other questions, reaction to your website feedback).
Via an application form on our website you may apply for an occupation (such as jobs, writing your thesis, vocational training) at a Hansgrohe group company in Germany. We pass on the personal data provided by you on the form (including document attachments) to the enterprise that has advertised the position. We do so exclusively for purposes of carrying out the application process. Once we have passed it on, we will immediately delete your personal data. The enterprise advertising the position will delete this data no later than six months after the conclusion of the application process, unless statutory provisions require a longer retention of the information.
If you use our e-card feature, we will store the email addresses and names you give for the sender and recipient, as well as the message entered by you and your IP address to transit the message. Once the e-card has been sent, we will immediately delete your personal data, unless we are under a statutory obligation to retain it. Please see the conditions of use for our e-cards for further information.
Your personal data will only be used for advertising purposes without your express consent within the strict limits provided by law. Without your express consent you will not be contacted for advertising purposes by email or telephone. Based on and within the scope of the applicable laws, we process and use the following personal data voluntarily provided by you to the degree required for purposes of advertising our own offers or for transmitting this data to Hansgrohe group companies for their advertising: your belonging to a certain category of persons (e.g. you being a customer or potential customer of Hansgrohe), your name, title, academic status, profession, branch or business title, address (however not your telephone or email contact data) and year of birth. For advertising our own offers we may store and use in addition to these details any further data that has been legitimately collected by us. To the extent we transmit the data listed above to our affiliates for their advertising purposes, they are legally obliged to inform you that they have received the data from us (by remark to this effect in the advertising material or the like). In this case we store information on the origin and recipients of the data for a period of two years. You may object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time by contacting us at the address given below.
Information on User Behaviour
As we strive to optimise our offers and our advertising to meet our customers’ needs, we require information on the general utilisation behaviour of our customers. For this reason, using the user data that has been permissibly collected by us in order to allow your utilisation of our website offer, we create user profiles with the aid of pseudonyms. That is to say, we replace with an abstract feature all details in the utilisation data which could allow any conclusions to be drawn as to your identity (such as IP address, user names, passwords). There is no combination of the user profile with data on your person nor any use for other purposes. You may object to the use of your personal data to create user profiles at any time by contacting us at the address given below. In addition, some of our websites have been “tynt” enabled. When you copy and paste content from such websites into emails or post it on social media pages (e.g. Facebook), then the “tynt” tool gives others a direct link to the website and tells us which website has been accessed and shared. This information is collected on a purely anonymous basis. At no time can Hansgrohe see who has shared that data or whom it has been shared with. For more details on the “tynt” tool, please visit www.tynt.com.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer, enabling an analysis of how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to one of Google's servers in the USA, where it is stored. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address is abbreviated beforehand within EU Member States or in other states who are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Your full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. On behalf of this website operator, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website and internet usage for the website operator. Google will not associate the IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics with any other data held by Google. You may prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to make use of the full functionality of this website. You may also prevent the data generated by the cookie, and related to your usage of the website (including your IP address), being captured and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. In view of the discussion surrounding the use of analytical tools with complete IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “anonymizeIp()” and that consequently IP addresses are further processed only in an abbreviated form to exclude a direct link to persons.
